This is one of my favorite things that I have read in some time and touches on a lot of my favorite tropes and headcanons about Cardassia. I have always imagined that they are very big on open air markets, so I was just delighted to see one featured so prominently in this story. And while I understand that reconstruction would take a long, long time, I'm a sucker for Post Canon Cardassia stories that are fluffy like this, especially when it includes learning Kardasi and references to the second tongue. Wonderful piece!
